James Halliday – Australian Wine Companion 2011 Edition
Alan and Nelly Cooper planted their vines in 1985 on the warmer, northern slopes that are positioned on the cusp of the divide. The vineyard is in a natural amphitheatre backing onto the Cobaw State Forest, 610 metres above sea level. The wines are grown, made and bottled on the estate and reflect the passion and commitment of the Coopers.
Cobaw Ridge has practiced organic farming since 2006 & certified Organic in 2009 by the National Association for Sustainable Agriculture Australia (NASAA Registration No.3678). Biodynamic accreditation through N.A.S.A.A will be completed vintage 2010.
